Sharing Christ’s Love and Hope in Downtown Edmonton

New Hope Ministry

New Hope Ministry is committed to more than meeting physical needs — we exist to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with those experiencing homelessness and hardship.

Our team comes together to prepare coffee, sandwiches, and care packs, which we personally deliver to people on the streets of downtown Edmonton.

Through these expressions of love, we aim to bring both practical support and the message of Christ’s love, offering encouragement, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.

Our History

In the Spring of 2023, God led us to support the less fortunate in our city, leading to the establishment of New Hope. We aim to serve our local homeless community through providing food, drinks, and care packs - provisions which are generously contributed by our Church family. It is our desire to share the love of Christ and the hope of salvation during every encounter.

How can you get involved?

  1. SUPPORT OUR PANTRY

Help us maintain a well-stocked pantry by donating essential items, ranging from water to various necessities. For an example of the items we pack, click the button.

2. JOIN OUR PACKING CREW

We our teams go out twice a month. Before each outreach, there is an opportunity to lend a hand in preparing food, drinks, and care packages for the teams venturing out. We also love to spend time in prayer for those going out on the streets. See our Church Calendar for the next outreach.

3. JOIN AN OUTREACH TEAM

While we understand that not everyone may be capable or comfortable going onto the streets, we are seeking those who have a heart for the ministry and can actively participate in our outreaches.

4. Prayer

Please commit yourself to praying for this ministry - the teams who go out, and the people who will be reached.
